Had a job interview today, it was in two parts. A desk based task where I had to look at a policy, and then decide on a course of action, and do a calculation, then write a letter to someone. The only problem was that my hands were shaking, my brain was scrambled and I was unsure exactly how to do the maths part. So I am pretty sure I completely failed this part, I did tell them at the interview that I didn’t think I had done it well, so at least they won’t think I thought I had done brilliantly.

The interview bit went well though, I will find out next week the results.

Only my first interview in this bout if job hunting though, so am trying not to get too worried. Que Será, Será.

Went to see Marillion at The Forum in London on Monday night, brilliant concert.

Must have seen the band at least 20 times now and this had to be one of the highlight concerts.

They played something from every H era album, a good move.

I never really liked Anoraknophobia that much and I could do without half of the Marbles album. Saw them 3 times (well, 3 and half if you include the HMV in store performance I went too) on the Marbles tour and it was great to not have to endure The Invisible Man once again.

The band also seemed to be having fun, dressed up as Father Christmas on stage for the encores, and were drinking lots of Vodka, played just over two and a half hours.

When we hit 11:30 I was getting worried about missing the last train home but it was perfect timing.

I hope they release this concert as a CD either a Front Row Club release, or even better it was recorded as a multitrack and will be nicely mixed..

Makes me want to go back and listen to Marillion.com, a much under appreciated album.

I was three rows from the front, right by the speakers for Bass and Guitar so they sounded heavier than they have in years, went home with some ringing tinnitus.

It was just like a rock concert should be, loud!

I seem to be going through some intensive and passionate music fanaticism, a few weeks ago it was orchestral film music my current obsession is the fabulous 80's, and of course current rock band Iron Maiden, I listen to there albums constantly, hum the tunes, and have them going round my head. They are playing live at the Leeds and Reading festivals, as well as a gig in London in Sep. Tickets are sold out, but am considering searching ebay for some, we shall see.

I wonder what next months obsession will be, fran reckons Enya!

Also, fired up after yearly meeting, highly politicised, written one letter to the friend, and will bombard the staff at Friends House in the next few months with what I feel needs to be done, poor people.
